Yamashita Tomohisa

- Also known as "Yamapi."
- He's been in Johnny's Jimusho since the age of 12!
- Formerly in a Junior unit called "4 Tops" before NEWS.
- Loves the beach/sea.
- Dramas he's acted in include Ikebukuro West Gate Park, Lunch no Joou, Stand Up!!, Sore wa, Totsuzen, Arashi no you ni..., Dragonzakura, Nobuta. wo Produce, & Kurosagi.
- He has released a solo single and two special unit singles - one under "Shuuji to Akira" for Nobuta. wo Produce, & another under "Kitty GYM," a temporary volleyball support group with a few Juniors and Thai brothers, Golf & Mike.
- Pi says he gained his new look by a lot of muscle toning! XD

Nishikido Ryo
Birthday: 1984/11/3
Blood type: O
- Also in the Johnny's group, "KANJANI8."
- Notorious for his "sharp tongue"... but despite that, he can be very sweet.
- This picture of him is on crack.
- He's from Osaka, thus has to take shinkansen all the time for work. XD
- Dramas include Ganbatte Ikimasshoi, 1 Litre of Tears, & Attention Please.
- Can do an incredible face impersonation of "gachapin."
- He says that he "immediately bluffs."

Uchi Hiroki
Birthday: 1986/9/10
Blood type: AB
- Also in the Johnny's group, "KANJANI8."
- Known to be quite the crybaby.
- Also from Osakaaaa.
- Says his mom is very cute.
- Used to pick up girls when he was a little boy (at grocery stores?!). XDDD
- Has been temporarily suspended from Johnny's because he drank underage and was taken into protective custody by a cop. This occurred mid-July of 2005.
- Acted in two episodes of Ganbatte Ikimasshoi before suspension.

小山慶一郎
Koyama Keiichiro
Birthday: 1984/5/1
Blood type: O
- The oldest member of NEWS.
- The tallest member of NEWS.
- Given the nickname "single eyelid"...
- His family owns a ramen shop.
- MCs a lot. He's good at talking~
- Previously in "K.K.Kity" before NEWS.
- He can eat purin reallyyyy fast. 8D;;
- Dramas he's acted in include N's Aoi and Hanayome wa Yakudoshi!.
- Not the biggest fan of roller coasters.
- He's a regular MC on the Ya-Ya-Yah show.

加藤成亮
Kato Shigeaki
Birthday: 1987/7/11
Blood type: A
- Also referred to as "Shige."
- Is in love with his "beautiful bellybutton."
- Previously in "K.K.Kity" before NEWS.
- Very smart boy of the group.
- Dramas he's acted in are Gekidan Engimono - Ie ga Tooi and Busu no hitomi ni koishiteru.
- He plays the guitar and writes music, such as his duet with Yamapi called "Road" and "Happy Music" (where he wore his pretty crown!).
- Shows up frequently on the Ya-Ya-Yah show, and dressed up as a geisha on one of them.


草野博紀
Kusano Hironori
Birthday: 1988/2/15
Blood type: B
- Previously in "K.K.Kity" before NEWS.
- As a Junior, he seemed to really worship Kamenashi Kazuya of KAT-TUN.
- He's a wonderful dancer and studies from foreign artist's DVDs. :D
- Claims to have made a girl faint from his singing~
- He also doesn't seem to fond of roller coasters.
- Given the nickname "notti" by Tegoshi.
- Has a mischevious and baka personality sometimes. XD
- He's also acted in Gekidan Engimono - Ie ga Tooi.
- Showed up frequently on the Ya-Ya-Yah show.
- In January of 2006, Kusano was also involved in an underaged drinking incident, causing his temporary suspension.

手越祐也
Tegoshi Yuya
Birthday: 1987/11/11
Blood type: B
- The innocent girl boy of NEWS.
- Always smiley and nice but can srsly pwn you if you're not watching.
- Has an incredible voice.
- Once said that he admires Yamapi! They sang a "LOVE SONG" duet during the 2006 spring concert tour.
- The members say he's the one that's changed the most, especially clothes style~
- He's acted in 15 sai no blues, Gekidan Engimono - Ie ga Tooi, Gachibaka!, My Boss My Hero, & the movie Shissou.
- Appears frequently on the Ya-Ya-Yah show and got a prank pulled on him one time!
- His signature is "Tegoshi desu~" which Domoto Tsuyoshi gave him. :D

増田貴久
Masuda Takahisa
Birthday: 1987/7/4
Blood type: O
- Also referred to as "Massu."
- Cute, dorky, loves to laugh, and has a bright smile. :D
- Eats a lot! I believe one of his pickup lines was "You are my nikuman~" in an MC from one of their 2006 cons? XD
- Tones his muscles a lot, too. He's got arms of steel.
- Massu can dance, yo. Also be sure to check out his "It's BAD" performance...
- Dramas he's acted in are Gekidan Engimono - Ie ga Tooi, Gachibaka!, and Dandori~Dance Drill.
- Also appears on the Ya-Ya-Yah show often.
- Believe it or not, this boy can be quite ecchi! Especially saying "mokkori" on TV with a whole bunch of tiny Juniors. 8D;;

Moriuchi Takahiro
Birthday: 1988/4/17
Born in Tokyo
- The ninth member of NEWS. He left in December 2003.
- Also known as "that one 9th kid"
- Would have been the youngest member of the group.
- Moriuchi has a nice voice. arigatou ima has never been the same without 'im.
- He's now the lead vocalist for the band ONE OK ROCK! He goes by TAKA.
